MCP Connector
Connect VybeOS to your AI assistant
Bring your VybeOS brands, campaigns, and content into Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client — plan campaigns, draft on-brand content, and review performance, all scoped to your account's permissions.

Overview
The VybeOS MCP connector is a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets an AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client — work directly with your VybeOS brands, campaigns, and content.
It exposes read tools for browsing your brands, campaigns, content outputs, publications, and metrics, and write tools for creating campaigns, authoring narratives, adding and editing content, and starting generation jobs. All generation produces text and structured data only — the connector never generates images, video, or audio.
Requirements
A VybeOS account with access to at least one brand.
What you can do is scoped to your brand role: read tools work with any brand access, while creating or editing campaigns, narratives, and content requires brand:edit permission (Editor, Manager, or Admin on that brand).
Brand managers can additionally cap what MCP connections may touch per brand (Manage → AI Assistants → Brand permissions). Those limits apply to every connection on that brand, regardless of each user's own role.
No API key or manual configuration is needed — you connect by signing in through OAuth.
Connecting from Claude
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Enter the server URL https://mcp.vybeos.co/mcp and click Connect.
You'll be redirected to VybeOS to sign in. Approve access (read and/or write), and the connector moves to Connected. You can disconnect at any time from the same screen.
Connecting from other MCP clients
The server speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.vybeos.co/mcp. Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect to the same URL.
The server supports RFC 7591 Dynamic Client Registration, so compatible clients register themselves automatically — no client id needs to be issued by hand.
Authentication & permissions
Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with the Authorization Code flow and PKCE (S256). The connector requests two scopes: mcp:read (listing and retrieving data) and mcp:write (creating and editing).
Access is always scoped to the signed-in user's VybeOS brand permissions. The assistant only ever sees and changes what your account is allowed to, and every read tool is marked read-only while every write tool is explicitly flagged.
You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the connector in your client or by removing the connection inside VybeOS.
Data & privacy
The connector collects only the parameters needed to run each tool; it does not harvest conversation history. Tool calls are recorded in an audit log for security and integrity.
See the VybeOS Privacy Policy at https://www.vybeos.co/privacy for how data is collected, used, stored, shared, and retained.
